Caversham LTC aims to provide an enjoyable, nurturing and safe atmosphere for all Juniors who wish to take part in tennis and other activities. The Club is committed to providing a great opportunity for children to have fun, to learn, to develop good sportsmanship, competition skills and social interaction.

The programmes currently available for our Juniors are as follows:
- Friday Junior Club Night
- This is open for all Mini and Junior Members
- It is FREE during the outdoor season
- From October Junior Club Night moves indoors and there is a charge £3.50 per session
- Tuck Shop available
- Clubhouse is available to use for parents of Juniors
- Caversham LTC Tennis Academy
- The Caversham coaching team GDT provide a high standard of coaching for our most talented youngsters
- Those selected will be required to play 3 times a week minimum and compete on a regular basis
- Caversham LTC Coaching Programme
- Our Coaching Programme run and organised by GDT caters for all ages above 5
- Groups are divided into 4 categories
- Mini Red – Under 8’s
- Mini Orange – Under 9’s
- Mini Green – Under 10’s
- Juniors – 11-18 years
- Courses are run for an entire term and are bookable in advance. However, we do accept players who wish to join a group midway through the term
- Sessions are well structured, with no more than 8 players per Coach
- Competition at Caversham LTC
- Each year the Club enters a number of Teams into the AEGON Club League, also Berkshire LTA Summer and Winter Leagues. This provides competitive opportunities for younger Members to play against other Club either at home or away
- Regular Competition at Caversham LTC
- Between 6 and 8 competitions are run for Mini players. Some of these are Closed events (Members only) and some are Open events meaning anyone from all over the country can enter. Each May Half Term, the Club runs a large multiple day Open (Grade 3) Tournament which includes events for all ages from under 8 to Under 18’s. All events are suppported by the LTA and those playing will have their results submitted to ensure they earn points for their rankings and player ratings.
