This year’s Annual General Meeting is on Wednesday 8th November
– 7.30pm, in the
Clubhouse. All Adult Members are
invited to have their say.
It’s important that you attend the meeting, to show your support of your Club.
But it’s not all serious matches and training – tennis at
Caversham is there to be enjoyed!
In addition to a friendly drink on Club Nights, Club Members, their
families and friends enjoy an active social calendar throughout the year:
BBQ’s, Quiz Night, Cheese & Wine Party, Wimbledon Draw, Christmas
Dinner Dance and special events throughout the year. Fun and entertainment
is guaranteed!
Watch this page or the club notice board for more
information about Club activities, check in the Club House for leaflets or
ask Maria, our Club Administrator, what's going on.

Tickets for this fantastic ‘Oscar’ style event
are now available via the Club Office. Bookings are being taken for whole
tables of 10/12 or on an individual basis. This evening was extremely
popular and enjoyable last year and was sold out very early, so in order to
avoid disappointment, please purchase your tickets as soon as possible via
the Club Office (Maria Choules or Mandy Regan).
This is a ‘Black Tie’ event and the ticket price includes a 3
course dinner with music and dancing.
Tickets will be individually numbered and will offer you the chance of
winning one of our spectacular prizes. There will also be an opportunity of
winning the “Table Lottery” – each table will have a number
of small envelopes in which you place £5, seal and write your name on the
outside. This will give you an opportunity of winning 50% (the other 50% will
go to the Club) of all proceeds taken from the Table Lottery. You can put in
as many envelopes as you wish to increase your chances of being the lucky
winner.
The evening will commence at 7.30pm where you will have an opportunity
to purchase pre-dinner cocktails together with wine etc. to be served during
dinner which will start at 8.00pm. The bar will be open until 12.30pm and carriages will be at 1.00am.
For all our new recent members, this is a perfect and most pleasant way of
meeting and socialising with not only other members but also to mingle with
Caversham’s finest coaching team.
This event is not just for members but is open to friends and
family as well so we look forward to seeing as many people as possible.
Please remember to book early however, as numbers will be limited and tickets
will be sold on a “first come, first served” basis.
When the Airhall goes up, Thursday night drills will
commence so book your place soon. To download a copy of the booking form just

The Airhall is up and there are still a few spaces
during the day for block booking.
Please contact Maria in the Club Office for availability for this
term. You'll find all the details, booking forms and prices by clicking here and going to the Indoor Court Booking
